Kathmandu Rayzrs FC Won the Title of First Nepal Super League (NSL):

Kathmandu Rayzrs FC has won the first Nepal Super League (NSL) Franchise Cup Football Tournament. In the title race, Kathmandu Razors defeated Dhangadhi to become the champion of the Nepal Super League football franchise. Along with the title, Kathmandu Razors have bagged Rs 3.5 million and a trophy. Dhangadhi FC, who finished second, was awarded Rs 1.5 million.

Kathmandu Rayzrs FC beat Dhangadhi 1-0 in a match played at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor today. Along with the victory in the final, Kathmandu also avenged the loss to Dhangadhi 0-3 in the league stage and 1-2 in the first play-off.

The only goal scored by foreign player Mesouke Olumou in the victory of Kathmandu Razors was enough to give the title. He scored in the 21st minute of the first half. This is Mesouke's eighth goal as Kathmandu Razors scored their 14th goal in the tournament.

Grabbing the ball from Vishal Rai, Bishwas Shrestha's pass was scored by Olumou giving an excellent finish.

A total of 25 games have been played, including 21 games, two play-offs, one eliminator, and one final in the league phase of the competition, which started on April 25. There were seven teams participating in the competition.
