A meeting of CDOs of three districts of Kathmandu Valley has banned more than 25 people from gathering in public places in the Kathmandu Valley. The decision was taken at a meeting of the chief district officers of the Kathmandu Valley held on Tuesday.
According to Kathmandu Assistant Chief District Officer Umakanta Adhikari, the meeting decided to stop more than 25 people from gathering in public places. He said, "We are implementing the directives of the Home Ministry. Gatherings are not allowed in public places. We will make the decision public shortly. '
Earlier on Monday, the Home Ministry had sent a circular to the concerned district administration saying that no more than 25 people could gather in public places. Corona infection has been spreading rapidly in Nepal recently. Along with Corona, a new variant of Omicron has also been reported.
