Karnali Academy of Health Sciences (KAHS) has health insurance for 129 students. According to the teaching hospital, 277 employees including students have been insured.
According to the hospital, 15 students of MBBS, 8 students of BPharma, 11 students of BNS, 6 students of BMS, 30 students of BPH, 36 students of PCL Nursing, and 23 students of HA have been insured. Similarly, health insurance for 50 teachers has also been provided, said Rokaya.
According to him, the students and their family members will get insurance facility from the service provider hospital. "The insurance program seeks to encourage students and make them more responsible," he said, "for which KAHS has paid all the premiums."
