The meeting held on Tuesday of the Judicial Council has decided to transfer 224 district judges. Acting Chief Justice Deepak Kumar Karki chaired the meeting of the Council that judges who have been in various districts for more than three years have been transferred, said Man Bahadur Karki, spokesperson of the Judicial Council.
The meeting called for applications for District Judges and selected 63 initially. There were 200 applications for selection. The meeting decided to call for applications for 27 judges for the High Court.
