Judicial Council Recommended Name for two Judges in Supreme Court and 18 Judges in High Court:
The meeting of the Judicial Council has recommended the names of Dr. Kumar Chudal and Nahakul Subedi as judges of the Supreme Court. A meeting of the council chaired by Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jabra today decided to recommend Dr. Chudal of Patan High Court and Subedi of Surkhet High Court.
Council spokesperson Man Bahadur Karki said that the meeting had recommended 18 people for the post of a high court judge. The names of Narayan Prasad Poudel and Rishi Rajbhandari have been recommended by the special category officers of the Judicial Service.
Deputy Attorney General Poudel has been recommended to the Patan High Court and Secretary to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Raj Bhandari has been recommended to the Pokhara High Court from the Patan High Court.
Rameshwar Regmi and Mamata Khanal have been recommended as judges of the High Court from the Judicial Service Gazette First Class. The meeting has recommended the names of Phurpa Tamang of Rasuwa, Shridhara Kumari Pudasaini of Siraha, Jagdish Ghimire of Sunsari, Punam Singh Chand of Kanchanpur, Sagar Bista of Kavrepalanchok, Ganesh Thakur of Siraha, and Nirmala Shakya of Bhaktapur.
Similarly, Jagat Narayan Pradhan, Madhavendra Regmi, Purushottam Prasad Dhakal, Bishnu Subedi, Arjun Prasad Koirala, Amrit Bahadur Basnet, and Medini Prasad Poudel have been recommended for the post of the district judge.
