Instructed to Run Classes in Students Physical Presence by Tribhuvan University:
Tribhuvan University (TU) has instructed all campuses to conduct regular classes in the physical presence of students and teachers in coordination with the local level. TU Registrar Dr. Peshal Dahal informed that instructions have been given to operate the campus in coordination with the local level. Due to Covid-19, TU has not been able to conduct examinations and classes since April.
He said, "Classes are being conducted in physical presence in places where there is no risk of Covid-19 infection. We have been asked to conduct classes in other places with the approval of the local level."
Registrar Dahal informed that the campus where there is no physical presence has been instructed to conduct regular classes using alternative methods. According to him, even though the master-level education is through the virtual method, the bachelor level class has not been done.
According to Surya Prasad Adhikari, Chief of Information and Public Relations Division, TU, the meeting of the Executive Council decided to conduct regular classes with all the campus departments, schools within the time frame and within the criteria set by the local level. All campuses were requested to make arrangements.
