Inland Revenue Department (IRD) Published VAT Purchase and Sales Book New Format: Government of Nepal, Ministry of Finance, Inland Revenue Department Important notice regarding purchase and sale book of value-added tax (VAT)

Sub-section (2) of Section 16 of the Value Added Tax Act 2042 (s) in respect of verification of purchase and sale account in Rule 25 of the Value Added Tax (VAT) Rules, 2053 (23rd Amendment) with effect from 2078/79. Records of each tax period of purchase and sale transactions should be kept in the purchase and sale account certified by the taxpayer himself ”. This notice has been published for the information of all concerned to verify the purchase and sale account in the following format from 2078/79.
