Notice regarding tax distribution and extension of the tax payment period
Due to the inconvenient situation caused by the spread of COVID 19 worldwide, the period for filing tax returns, income statement and tax to be paid as per those details have been extended till mid-July 2077 Jestha25 and Jestha mid-term. This information has been published for the information of all concerned regarding filing.
(A) Monthly tax returns for the months of Falgun, Chaitra, and Baishakh 2076 as per Value Added Tax Act, 2052, Value Added Tax returns for the bi-monthly and second quarterly months of Magh, Falgun, Chaitra and Baishakh 2077 and tax filing as per those details. The deadline is 2077 A.D.
(B) Section 25D of the Value Added Tax Act, 2052 for the purpose of refund of value-added tax. Accordingly, if the period for filing tax refund expires at the time of lockdown, it will be till 2077 A.D.
(C) According to the Excise Act, 2058, the details to be submitted for the months of Falgun, Chaitra, and 2077 Baishakh 2076 and the deadline for filing excise according to those details is 7th of Ashad 2077.
(D) Pursuant to the Income Tax Act, 2055, the deadline for submission of advance tax deduction and advance tax collection for the months 2076 Falgun, Chaitra, and 2077 Baishakh and the deadline for filing tax according to those details is 7th Ashad 2077.
(E) As per the Income Tax Act, 2055 BS, the revised estimated tax statement of the Fiscal Year 2076/77 and the second installment amount to be submitted in the month of Chaitra 2076 BS is due by 15th Ashad 2077 BS.
(F) Education service fee for the month of Falgun, Chaitra and 2077 Baishakh 2076 as per sub-section (2) of section 8 of the Financial Act, 2076, telephone ownership fee for the month of Falgun, Chaitra and Baishakh 2076 as per sub-section (2) of section 14 and Pursuant to sub-section (3) of section 15, the deadline for filing telecommunication service fee for the months of Falgun, Chaitra and Baishakh of 2076 BS is till 7th of Ashad 2077 BS.
