Inauguration of a newly constructed building of Himalayan Whitehouse International College: Vice-Chancellor of Purbanchal University Prof Dr. Yadav Raj Koirala inaugurated the newly constructed state-of-the-art building of Himalayan Whitehouse International College at Ramshahpath Putalisadak on Monday.
Vice-Chancellor Koirala, who was the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony held at the college's own hall, said in his address that Himalayan Whitehouse International College was one of the best colleges in the nation and it was a golden opportunity for the students to study in it.
He said that he had known about the college for a long time and had made a great contribution to the field of education the college.
As the current team of the college is trustworthy, he wished the college further success in maintaining its legacy of the past 22 years and achieving more heights and excellence.
Addressing the function, Registrar of Eastern University Nilamani Pokhrel said that the Himalayan Whitehouse International College had introduced Eastern University from East Mechi to West Mahakali in the early days and was the first choice college of the students. He said that reading Whitehouse is a matter of pride and prestige for any student.
Controller of Examinations Prof. Mohan Bahadur Basnet said that Purbanchal University was improving the examination system in a timely manner and was still refining it.
The function was graced by Prof. Dr. Krishna Kumar of Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering Studies, Pulchowk Campus. Vinod Parajuli and Dr. Sandesh Das Shrestha, President of Purbanchal University Teachers Association also addressed the gathering. The ceremony was presided over by the Principal of the College, Pvt. The program was conducted by Toyanarayan Poudel and the program was conducted by Narayan Acharya, Chief Administrative Officer of the College.
Dr. Ajay Khadka, Vice Principal of the College delivered the welcome address and E. Laxman Pokharel, President of the College was also present on the occasion. The program was attended by professors, teachers, staff, and students of the college.
Ramshah Path, Putalisadak-based Whitehouse International College is one of the best colleges in Nepal, which has been operating continuously for the last 22 years in association with Eastern University.
The College runs BE Civil, BE Computer, BE Elex, Communication & Automation, B-Tech in Biotechnology, and BIT programs under the School of Science and Technology Engineering; Under the School of Management and Arts at the undergraduate level, BBA, BHM, BLAS and MBA, and EMB programs are run at the postgraduate level. It is a matter of pride and enthusiasm for the college to have its newly constructed building inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of the respective university.
