Important Notice from Nepal Rastra Bank:
Nepal Rastra Bank has given a special package to the bank's borrowers. Now, borrowers borrowed from banks and financial institutions will have to pay their debt and interest by mid-July. The Rastra Bank issued such a circular by issuing a circular today (Sunday only).
"Due to the impact of Corona, such arrangements have to be made after the borrowers from the banks and financial institutions are unable to pay the interest at a timely manner," said Dev Kumar Dhakal, executive director of the Bank and Financial Institutions Regulation Department of the Nation Bank.
By mid-March, those who submit a loan from the bank will get a 10 percent discount.
Arrangements will be made for payment of monthly and quarterly installments (including credit cards) to be recovered by mid-July. The NRB circular states that no additional charges or damages may be charged for such installments. The bank has said that the loan will not be classified in the lower class due to non-payment of loans.
