The Ministry of Health and Population has announced plans to implement a 'Time Card' system in all government hospitals in Nepal. This system is intended to ensure that government services are provided at the specified time in the hospital. The implementation of this system is part of the integrated action plan of the government's minimum common program prepared by the ministry.

As part of this plan, the ministry has also announced the implementation of an electronic medical record system in all hospitals under the union and provinces. This system will help in the management of all activities related to health services, including online ticketing and referral, through a digital system.

The action plan also aims to maintain uniformity in the fees of the services provided by the hospitals under the association. To achieve this, the Health Service Fee Determination Committee will prepare a list of service fees. The list will cover all services provided by the hospitals to maintain uniformity in the service fees provided by the hospitals under the association. The list of service charges will be prepared and approved by the ministry and implemented accordingly.

Furthermore, the action plan aims to enhance the capacity of Nepal Aushadhi Limited to produce 98 types of medicines required for the delivery of basic health services in the country. This is in line with the concept of 'Make in Nepal' and is intended to ensure that essential medicines are produced locally to meet the needs of the population.

The Ministry of Health and Population is taking several measures to improve the healthcare system in Nepal. The implementation of the 'Time Card' system, the electronic medical record system, and uniformity in service fees are some of the steps being taken to enhance the quality and accessibility of healthcare services in the country.
