Humla Students Get Local Examination Center for M.Ed Program
Humla, 10 October 2023 - In a commendable move by Tribhuvan University, post-graduate students of the Master's Degree in Education (M.Ed) from Manasarowar Multiple Campus can now take their exams within their home district, Humla. This significant decision has been warmly received by the student community, marking an end to their long-standing dilemma regarding examination venues.
Bringing Exams Closer to Home
Historically, these students faced uncertainty about their examination locations. The recent permission granted by Tribhuvan University has brought much-needed clarity and convenience to the process. Deepak Bhandari, the Head of Manasarowar Multiple Campus and Center President, expressed his gratitude and relief, noting the substantial efforts made to realize this initiative.
Impressive Turnout, Boosted Morale
This progressive step has reflected positively on the turnout rates. Bhandari revealed that out of the 47 students registered for the post-graduate level examination under the Faculty of Education, a whopping 40 students have actively participated. The subject-wise breakdown included eight candidates for health education and 32 for EPS (Education Planning and Management). However, seven students did not attend the examination for undisclosed reasons.
Tribhuvan University, displaying its commitment to the student community in Humla, has announced that it will cover all exam-related expenses. This act not only reduces the financial burden on students but also sets a precedent for future examinations. With the successful execution of this year's examination in Humla, students can look forward to similar arrangements in the subsequent academic years.
This localized approach towards education is an encouraging sign for remote regions, fostering inclusivity and amplifying the importance of accessibility in education. Students of Manasarowar Multiple Campus are optimistic about their forthcoming academic endeavors, equipped with the knowledge that their university is steadfast in its support.
