Home Minister Bal Krishna Khan has instructed the Myadi Police recruited for the local elections to behave respectfully. He urged the people to be polite in hiring them as the role of Myadi Police is important even if they are temporarily recruited.
Home Minister Khan, who arrived in the home district on Tuesday, also instructed the security agencies to tighten the security arrangements at a meeting of the security agencies held at the District Administration Office, Rupandehi.
Home Minister Khan said that the government has the responsibility to protect the voters, polling staff, and the general public in the local level elections and directed all to be ready for that.
He urged to coordinate the security of the district with the coordination of all the four security agencies and pay special attention to the security of polling stations and ballot boxes.
Chief District Officer of Rupendehi, Rishi Ram Tiwari, informed that he has instructed the security agencies to study the possible risks and pay special attention to the security of the most sensitive and sensitive areas.
The meeting was attended by Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, Lumbini State Chief, Nepal Army, National Investigation Officer, and Chief District Officers of Rupendehi, Kapilvastu, and Nawalparasi.
Similarly, the armed forces of all three districts, the Nepal Police, and the Chief of National Investigation also participated. During the meeting, the Chief District Officer and the Chief of the District Security Agency were briefed about the security situation in their respective districts.
