Hom Prasad Khanal Elected as President of the Nepal Teachers Association Panchthar
Hom Prasad Khanal has been elected as the new President of the Nepal Teachers Association Panchthar. He was elected unopposed from the ninth district convention held in Fidim on Sunday.
Vice Presidents and Secretaries Elected
In addition to Hom Prasad Khanal, Surendra Ojha, and Phulkumari Nemwang were elected as vice presidents of the association, while Dilli Luitel was elected as the secretary. Ramesh Regmi, Santosh Kumar Yadav, Sarita Tamang, and Sundari Chemjong were elected as co-secretaries.
New Members Elected
The outgoing President, Birendra Kumar Khadka, announced that Yogendra Bohora, Parshuram Adhikari, Rajendra Rai, Giriraj Humagain, Indira Khebang, Malika Subba, and Padamkumari Fiyak were elected unopposed as members of the association.
Federal and Province Representatives Elected
Furthermore, Birendra Kumar Khadka and Narendra Kumar Sambahamfe and Gopal Prasad Pokharel, Rachna Nemwang, and Purnamaya Tawa were selected as federal representatives, while Surendra Kerung, Tilochan Adhikari, Ramchandra Prasad Gupta, Anjana Rai, Asha Angdembe, and Jaiprasad Baskota were selected as Province representatives.
With the new leadership in place, the Nepal Teachers Association Panchthar is expected to continue its important work of promoting the rights and welfare of teachers in the region.
