Holi festival is celebrated on Monday (today) in the Himalayan and hilly districts with festivities celebrating the day of Phagun Shukla Purnima. With the advent of spring, the Fagu festival, which brings a message of mutual harmony and goodwill, has traditionally celebrated playing different colors and folklore.
