Gulmi District Preparing for SEE Examination with More Than 4,000 Students Participating

The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) is an important milestone for Nepalese students, marking the completion of secondary education. Gulmi District in Nepal is gearing up for the SEE examination, which will start on March 31, 2023.

Number of Students Participating:

According to Loknath Marasini, the Unit Head of the Education Development and Coordination Unit in Gulmi, a total of 4,722 students from 140 schools in the district will participate in the SEE examination. Out of these, 4,338 are regular students, 342 are regular technical students, 8 are regular open students, and 42 are partial and grade increase students.

Attendance Requirements:

In order to participate in the SEE examination, students are required to have at least 70% attendance. This emphasizes the importance of regular attendance throughout the academic year.

Technical Education in Gulmi:

Gulmi has 16 schools that offer technical education, and this year's SEE examination center for both general and technical students will be held in the same center. In the past, the examination center for technical students was at Mahendra Secondary School in Tamghas.

Examination Centers:

A total of 28 examination centers have been set up in various locations throughout the district to ensure an organized and dignified examination process. This year, the examination center has also been established at Bhagwati Secondary School in Dhurkot Rural Municipality-7, Wagla.

Management and Monitoring:

The District Examination Coordinating Committee and the Education Development and Coordinating Unit will ensure that necessary management is conducted to ensure an orderly and dignified examination process. Additionally, a monitoring team will be in place to ensure that the examination is effective.

Overall, The SEE examination is an important event for students in Nepal, and Gulmi District is taking steps to ensure a smooth and efficient examination process for its students. With over 4,000 students participating, the district is focused on providing the necessary support and resources to ensure that students can perform to the best of their abilities.
