Govinda Mishra Achieves Top Marks in Nepal for Bachelor's Second Year Exam

Govinda Mishra from Kailali has distinguished himself by achieving the highest marks in Nepal for the second year examination of the bachelor's level.

Outstanding Achievement

Mishra, residing in Pratappur, Lamkichuha Municipality-9, scored an impressive 395 marks, equating to 79%, thus topping the exams at Tribhuvan University. After completing his secondary education, he took a six-year break before enrolling in the first year of his bachelor's program in 2078 BS.

Academic Journey

Enrolled in the humanities faculty at Ghodaghodi Multiple Campus, located in Ghodaghodi Municipality-1, Sukhad, Kailali, Mishra pursued social work and rural development. Despite being a non-regular student who did not attend regular classes, he managed to achieve this feat. Campus officials proudly announced that Mishra topped Nepal in the results published in 2081 BS.

Self-Study Success

Involved in the teaching profession and unable to attend regular classes due to his long study gap, Mishra decided to enroll at the campus with the goal of studying at home and taking the exams. His dedication and self-study efforts paid off remarkably.

Recognition and Honor

On Thursday, Ghodaghodi Multiple Campus honored Mishra for his outstanding achievement. During the congratulatory event, Mishra shared that despite not attending regular classes, he was able to score high marks through self-study at home, motivated by the encouragement and suggestions from his teachers.

Consistent Excellence

Mishra had already proven his academic excellence by scoring 70% in his first year exams. In the second year exams of 2080 BS, he improved his performance, securing 79% and emerging as the top scorer. Lakshmi Prasad Bhattarai, the campus chief of Ghodaghodi Multiple Campus, noted that Mishra's success through home study has significantly raised the reputation of the campus.

Mishra received congratulations and best wishes from various dignitaries, including Prem Bahadur Sahakari, president of the campus's Free Student Union, Dinesh Raj Joshi, president of the Professors' Association, Assistant Campus Chief Chet Raj Binadi, and other professors.
