Government's Instruction Not to Write 'Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal'
The government has instructed not to write the 'Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal' from now on. It is mentioned in the circular issued by the Ministry of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs to the subordinate body that the cabinet meeting held on Ashoj 11 decided not to write the 'Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal'.
According to a circular issued by the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs on Ashoj 28, only 'Nepal' has to be written instead of 'Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal'. Similarly, it is mentioned in the circular of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs that the Cabinet has decided to write only 'NEPAL' in English instead of 'Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal'.
In the circular issued by the government under it, ‘Correspondence from various diplomatic missions and in some government documents, the official name of Nepal has been written as‘ Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal ’; From now on, instructions have been given to write the official name of Nepal as 'Nepal'.
Based on the same circular sent by the Ministry of Law, the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has sent a circular to all (753) local levels across the country on Kartik 5 to implement the decision.
In a circular sent to the local level by the Ministry of Federal Affairs, it has been said that a request has been made as per the order to implement the decision taken at the meeting of the Council of Ministers on Ashoj 11, 2077.
