The government has increased the price of diesel and petrol by Rs 10 per liter. Stating that the price of refined oil is continuously increasing along with the price of crude oil in the international market, the Nepal Oil Corporation has increased the price of petrol and diesel by Rs 10 each.
The new price will take effect from midnight today.
According to the corporation, the retail price of petrol, diesel, and kerosene has been increased by Rs 10 per liter with effect from 12 AM midnight. In the Kathmandu Valley, the retail price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 170 and diesel and kerosene at Rs 153. According to the corporation, the selling price of LP gas and aviation fuel has been kept unchanged at present.
