Government Encourages for Virtual Learning:

In order to facilitate children's learning, subordinate bodies and various institutions under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology have inspired online learning materials.

Since 'lockdown' has also been launched in Nepal to prevent Covid-19 from being infected globally, virtual content is recommended for students to study at home according to their class and interests.

The Center for Education Development and Human Resource Development (Department of Education) has informed that the students can use the digital materials already prepared on the basis of the syllabus of the Curriculum Development Center. Links to these materials can be found easily from the department's www.doe.gov.np and the center's website, www.moecds.gov.np.

The Common E Party of Open Learning Nepal includes the main subject of science, mathematics, English and Nepali lessons of all the secondary level classes. These links include 'Virtual Class of Al Compulsory Subjects' for Classes 9 and 10, English, Mathematics and Science Materials for Classes 6 through 8, 'E Path: Digital Learning Materials, Children's Stories and Games, Children's Book', E-Library (Free) And open digital library).

The Center informed that the 'Cluster' is available from various agencies or made available from other sources and the 'Education Cluster' is useful for children in order to continue the education of the children without disrupting their children's education in case of disadvantaged circumstances. The Education Cluster also participates in the international charity working on education.

The Center has also requested to take initiative in facilitating children's learning, especially in difficult situations, especially from parents and all concerned. Director of the department, Gehnath Gautam, informed that a task force has been formed for the creation of online portal content along with entertainment that will be useful to teachers, parents even in this situation. The Center had prepared disaster studies materials and portals in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake of 2015 AD.

Director Gautam urged the teachers to take care of their students wherever they are, online and mobile.

Chairman of the Children as Zones of Peace National Campaign (CZOP), Narendra Dangol, said the steps initiated by the government and non-governmental organizations in this situation were positive and said that since there is no special schedule for going to school but there is no such timetable at home, we need to make a timetable for them in their participation. "Such a schedule should include playing, eating, reading, participating in household chores and assistance, physical exercise time, etc." Chairman Dangol said, "In the current social media crisis, there should be no negative content on the mind and addiction to them on mobile."

He also said that creative thoughts will be developed in his daily writing about what he did during the day, as he would be encouraged to engage with them without hurting them. The Children as Zones of Peace National Campaign (CZOP) has been advocating for the creation of an environment where children and children can be exercised at home, as they are a peace zone.
