Alternative Energy Promotion Center Notice

The government is going to distribute induction cookers to students studying in Kathmandu from outside the district. The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation is going to standardize the students and distribute such stoves free of cost and at a fixed percentage discount.

According to the information published by the center, students who come to Kathmandu Valley from remote areas and study in government and community educational institutions by renting a house will benefit from it. Undergraduate and postgraduate students will be able to apply.

As the price of LP gas is increasing, electric stoves are being distributed to the students as a relief. The center believes that this will also promote electric stoves.

When applying for the electric stove, a copy of the certificate of Nepali citizenship, as well as the student identity card and recommendation letter of the educational institution, should be included.

You can also send the application along with the required documents via e-mail and correspond to the Alternative Energy Promotion Center, Bio-Energy Branch, Central Baneshwor, Kathmandu. The last date to submit the application is the 25th of Falgun 2078.
