The government has appointed Acting Vice-Chancellor in four universities such as Tribhuvan University, Nepal Sanskrit University, Purbanchal University, and Agriculture and Forest University.
Due to the expiry of the Vice-Chancellors of all the four universities, the meeting with the Vice-Chancellor and Prime Minister and Minister of Education gave the responsibility of the Vice-Chancellor of the respective universities.
Sudha Tripathi, rector of Acting Vice-Chancellor of Tribhuvan University has been given the responsibility. The meeting handed over the responsibility of Ramesh Dhakal to the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Sanskrit University and Senior Dean Bijukumar Thapaliya to the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Purbanchal University. Similarly, Senior Dean Sharda Thapaliya has been entrusted with the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Agriculture and Forest University.
The meeting has also extended the search committee of Tribhuvan University and Nepal Sanskrit University to the deadline for 20 days. Likewise, the meeting also decided to constitute a search committee for the formation of the Service Commission of Agriculture and Forest University and Eastern University.
