Global College International Receives QAA Certification from UGC
Global College International (GCI) has successfully obtained the Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) certification from the University Grants Commission (UGC). After a comprehensive evaluation by an expert team, assessing various standards and criteria established by UGC, GCI was awarded this certification, marking a significant achievement in higher education.
With this certification, GCI becomes the first college affiliated with Mid-Western University in Nepal to receive QAA certification from the UGC. After being granted permission, the college entered the quality assurance process and submitted its self-study report in 2019 to commence the assessment.
The certificate was officially awarded to Global College International during a special ceremony organized by UGC. The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Devraj Adhikari, Chairperson of UGC, as the chief guest, alongside prominent attendees, including Vice-Chancellor of Mid-Western University, Prof. Dr. Dhrubakumar Gautam, former Vice-Chancellor of Tribhuvan University, Prof. Dr. Tirtharaj Khania, and PRT Coordinator Prof. Dr. Manprasad Wagle.
At the event, Prof. Dr. Devraj Adhikari expressed his gratitude to the entire management team, executive heads, faculty, staff, and students of GCI for their collaborative efforts and dedication toward achieving QAA certification. Addressing the guests, he emphasized the importance of collective commitment in reaching this milestone.
Dr. Khagendra Prasad Ojha, Chairman of Global College, expressed his appreciation upon receiving the certificate, acknowledging the collective effort of all associated with the college. He affirmed that this success strengthens their focus on furthering educational excellence in the future.
