Gandaki Province government Decided to Recruit Doctors and Nurses in 11 District Hospitals:

The Gandaki Province government is recruiting nurses and doctors in district hospitals. Doctors and nurses are being recruited on contract for 11 district hospitals and infectious and communicable disease hospitals under Gandaki Province.

In Manang and Mustang, one doctor each and 11 nurses are being recruited and in other hospitals, 2/2 doctors and 2/2 nurses are being recruited. Gandaki Province's cabinet meeting has decided.

The ministry has called for applications to create 49 posts of doctors and nurses. The ministry had sent a budget to add ICU beds in all district hospitals. Most hospitals have installed ICU equipment, while others have purchased equipment.

Under the coordination of Economic Affairs and Planning Minister Kiran Gurung, Physical Infrastructure Development Minister Ram Sharan Basnet, Internal Affairs, and Law Minister Hari Bahadur Chuman, secretaries of all ministries, State Policy and Planning Commission Vice-Chairman Dr. Giridhari Sharma, and Chief Justice Dr. A committee comprising Rajendra Ghimire has been formed.

Government spokesperson Ram Sharan Basnet informed that the cabinet meeting has decided to extend the contract health workers appointed in various hospitals.
