The Free Student Union (FSU) at Tej Nirala Janahit Multiple Campus in Jomsom, Mustang, has been elected unopposed.
Anju Pariyar from the All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) has been elected unopposed President of the campus Free Student Union (FSU). Dhiraj Pariyar from ANNFSU was elected Joint Secretary, and Ashok Bhandari and Kamal Gurung were elected members.
Similarly, Sudip Bharati Thakali was elected as vice president of the Nepal Students Union, Updesh Chaudhary as secretary, Nisha Gauchan as treasurer, and Manika BK as a member.
Adityachandra Thakali, coordinator of the Free Student Union Election Committee at Tej Nirala Janahit Multiple Campus Mustang, informed that Devraj Lamichhane, a student from the Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist)- affiliated group, was selected as one of the nine members of the Free Student Union.
According to him, three organizations had registered for the election, and since the leadership was selected by consensus, the elected team was announced. The nine-member student union committee consists of four members from ANNFSU, four from Nepal Students Union, and one from the Socialist group.
