Four Fake Examinees Arrested in the MBBS Common Entrance Exam

Fake examinees have been arrested in the MBBS entrance exam conducted by the Medical Education Commission. Chief of the Metropolitan Crime Branch, SSP Basanta Kunwar, said that four persons involved in the examination were arrested from different examination centers in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur.

Similarly, police have arrested one more person for investigation. Preliminary investigations have revealed that some of the arrested were MBBS students. Police said that there may be some senior doctors.

The MBBS exam has started on Friday. According to SSP Kunwar, the crime branch has launched an operation against fake examinees. A team from the crime branch deployed in the field arrested them. Kunwar said that details are yet to come as the investigation into the arrest is ongoing.

Earlier, it was found that fake candidates had participated in the entrance exams of MD and MS.
