Jana Bikas Secondary School in Resunga Municipality, Gulmi to Receive New Building under President's Educational Reform Program
A new building for Jana Bikas Secondary School located in the remote ward of 14 Paralmi in Resunga Municipality of Gulmi is set to be constructed under the President's Educational Reform Program. The building will have four rooms and is expected to be completed by the end of June next year at a cost of Rs. 5 million.
The foundation stone for the building was laid by Khildhwaj Panthi, head of Resunga Municipality, who emphasized the municipality's priority for education. Panthi expressed his satisfaction with the addition of physical infrastructure to the school, which will provide ease to teaching and learning.
In addition to the construction of the building, the municipality has arranged scholarships for students who pass with excellent marks. This move is expected to encourage students to excel in their studies and contribute positively to the development of the region.
The construction of the building is being carried out through the consumer committee, and Ward Chairman Dhan Bahadur Pun believes that the current needs of the school will be met through the construction of physical infrastructure.
After laying the foundation stone, Chief Panthi met with teachers, school management committees, and parents to discuss the overall condition and needs of the school. This move highlights the importance of community participation in education and its role in promoting development.
