Federal Education Act to be presented in Parliament: Education, Science and Technology Minister Ashok Kumar Rai

Draft of Education Act returned to Council of Ministers due to change of government
The Education Minister also informed that the draft of the Education Act was prepared before and reached the Cabinet but was returned due to the change of government. However, the Ministry has sent it again to the Ministry of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs. The Ministry of Law has stopped the process for some time as many laws have to be made.

The process of re-evaluating the curriculum is going on in the case that it needs to be improved and resolved.

Apart from the Education Act, the Education Minister also informed that the university umbrella bill is in the stage of legal process. The government is working with determination to include it in the ongoing convention.
