Far Western University (FWU) and Indian Institute of Technology (IITR) Sign MoU to Strengthen Academic and Research Collaboration
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Far Western University (FWU) and the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR) to strengthen academic and research collaboration.
The MoU was signed by the Vice-Chancellor of Far Western University, Prof. Dr. Hemraj Pant, and the Director of the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Prof. Dr. K.K. Pant.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Hemraj Pant believes that this bilateral agreement will significantly contribute to the study and research of technical subjects conducted by the university.
Dr. Pant also informed that the university is preparing to launch undergraduate courses in Architecture under the Engineering Faculty and B.Sc. Nursing and BPH under the Health Sciences Faculty, as well as postgraduate courses in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in the near future.
The university currently offers various educational programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in four faculties: Humanities and Social Sciences, Management, Education, and Science and Technology.
At the research level, the university conducts educational programs up to M.Phil and Ph.D. levels.
