Far-West University Affiliates Five More Campuses
Far-West University has recently decided to affiliate five more campuses, according to the university registrar Yagya Raj Pathak. These campuses include Krishna Baijnath Multiple Campus, Purchaundi Multiple Campus, Bhimdatta Multiple Campus, Deep Multiple Campus, and Sunkuda Multiple Campus.
Approval for Programs by the Government
Yagya Raj Pathak also stated that the government will be conducting the programs of the university after approving the posts of the newly affiliated campuses. This is a positive development for the university and the students studying there.
Expansion of University
With the recent affiliation of the five new campuses, the university is expanding its reach and providing more opportunities for students to pursue their academic goals. Earlier, 15 community campuses were made into individual campuses within the university.
Plans for Future Academic Programs
University Vice-Chancellor Ammaraj Joshi said that there are plans to introduce Forestry and Horval Science programs from the next academic session. The university has also started the admission process at the post-graduate level of the Faculty of Human Science and Engineering from this academic session.
Current Faculties of the University
Far-West University currently offers academic programs in eight faculties including humanities and sociology, management, pedagogy, science and technology, engineering, agricultural science, law, and health science.
Number of Students Enrolled
Established in the year 2068, the university has been running academic programs since 071. Currently, the university has 23,399 students studying in 16 campuses, including the newly affiliated campuses. This is a positive sign for the university as it continues to grow and offer more opportunities for students.
