Faculty System Completely Phase out in NEB Grade 11 and 12:

Now, when the school enrolls students in class 11, it is not possible to take admission on the basis of faculty. As in the past, enrollment in science, education, humanities, and management faculties will not be possible from this time.

Executive Director of the Curriculum Development Center Ganesh Prasad Bhattarai informed that the school will not be able to admit students by separating the faculty from this academic session. He informed that now only one-way students can be admitted.

When enrolling in it, students are allowed to choose elective subjects but it is not recognized on the basis of faculty. This time in class 11, three compulsory subjects and six subjects from each of the three groups are taught electively. Students can also study as a seventh subject if they want. As class-11 will now be run under the school, the student admission process will be the same as that of class-9 and 10. In a one-way system, faculty will no longer be enrolled and there will be no more tuition.

Also, certificates will not be given to students on the basis of faculty. A certificate is given only for passing the class. After going to the school level, now the admission of class 12 will be the same. Earlier, enrollment and issuance of certificates in class 11 and 12 under the auspices of the Higher Secondary Education Council were done on the basis of faculty.
