Minister of Education, Science and Technology Devendra Paudel has said that the government will facilitate necessary to expand the education of Nepali universities to the international level.
Minister Poudel made this commitment at the program organized to sign a Letter of Intent with Vishweshwara Yoga Research Institute in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, to cooperate for the possibility of conducting Yogic Science, Health Management, Hospitality and other programs in Indian cities under the internationalization campaign of Kathmandu University.
The MoU was signed in Tirupati in the presence of Minister Paudel and University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Bhola Thapa. The team, which was on a week-long visit to higher education institutions in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, discussed the possibility of conducting a joint degree program at Madras Divetic Research Center in Chennai. It is said that there are plans to discuss similar programs at IIT Hyderabad.
