The driving license examination, which has been suspended for four months, will be resumed. Both the written and experimental exams will start from the third week of Bhadra 2078.

The Department of Transport Management has instructed the subordinate offices to conduct a written and trial examination of driver's license by fulfilling the prescribed health criteria by issuing a circular on the 10th of Bhadra.

Dr. Loknath Bhushal, director of the department, said, “It has been instructed to conduct the examination by publishing the information within seven days. Accordingly, the offices will conduct the examination after completing the internal preparations. ”

Meanwhile, the Lalitpur Driver's License Office under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport has published a notice on Sunday to operate from 20 Bhadra. Under this, examinations will be conducted for those who have applied for the biometric written examination by applying for the experimental examination, all the candidates who have participated in the written examination and the experimental examination, those who have failed the experimental examination, and those who have returned to the office.

Raju Aryal, information officer at the Bagmati Provincial Transport Management Service Office, Hetauda, ​​said that the information has been received from the department and the office will conduct the examination after completing the internal preparations. Services are being provided from 19 transport service offices under the department.

In the first week of Bhadra, a discussion was held between the Department of Covid Crisis Management (CCMC) and the department on the issue of conducting a pilot test by fulfilling the public health criteria to open the driver's license examination which was stopped from last Baishakh 14.
