Dr. Das Claimed to Developed the Covid-19 Vaccine:
Scientists around the world are currently engaged in vaccine studies against Covid-19. Dr. Lalit Kumar Lal Das has been involved in the study of a vaccine against an epidemic from Nepal for three months.
As the corona epidemic is on the rise globally, Dr. Das has started a vaccine study using herbs found in Nepal from Chait. Dr. Das, who is studying the vaccine in the laboratory of Hetauda Campus, said, “I have developed the vaccine against the coronavirus by researching plants and herbs with some antioxidant activity and enzymatic action. ”
He asserted that his research was successful in helping the world cope with the Corona crisis.
He said, “The work of the laboratory has been completed, my research and research has become the property of the University and the Government of Nepal. Now further research belongs to the state. ”
He also urged the government to test his research on coronavirus infection.
Dr. Das, an assistant professor at the Hetauda Campus under the Institute of Forest Studies, has developed the vaccine using herbs. Initially researching and producing herbal sanitizers, he has also developed a vaccine to increase corona resistance. The World Health Organization (WHO) has also discussed the research of Dr. Das, who has developed two types of vaccines against the coronavirus. On Tuesday, Dr. Das had a virtual discussion with researchers from 73 countries of the world including Nepal and WHO research officers.
Dr. Das said discussions were being held on whether the World Health Organization (WHO) had acted in accordance with the protocol, its ability to develop vaccines, how many could be affected, how much progress had been made, and expectations with the organization. Dr. Das informed that the research officer of WHO said that the research should be continued, the resources of the country should be used and if there is any problem.
The WHO is pushing for a vaccine against coronavirus. At the same time, Dr. Das's research concept paper was sent to the WHO. Dr. Das has indicated S1, S2, and S3 vaccines against the coronavirus. Similarly, another vaccine to increase corona resistance is indicated S4, S5, S6, S7, S8, and S9. The next meeting with the research officer of the World Health Organization is scheduled for June 20.
Damodar Gaire, an associate professor at Hetauda Campus, said, “The details of the drugs and vaccines produced in the laboratory have been sent to the WHO. ”
According to Associate Professor Damodar Gaire, an enzymatic vaccine has been prepared using herbs including Gurjo and Nimal. The vaccine will help destroy the fatty substances in the coronavirus.
According to him, the vaccine has been prepared to increase the corona resistance by using antioxidant fruits including lemon and turmeric.
Regarding the investigation of Dr. Das, the Bagmati Province Government has expressed interest and commitment to assist and facilitate. The Ministry of Social Development has also organized a discussion with the officials of the Nepal Health Research Council. Vaccines need to be approved by the council for research, development, and production. Purushottam Raj Sedhai, the spokesperson of COVID-19 of the Ministry of Social Development of Bagmati Pradesh, informed that discussions were held on institutionalizing the research of Dr. Das.
