District Administration Office (DAO) Kathmandu Issued a Seven-point Order

District Administration Office (DAO) Kathmandu has issued a seven-point order. DAO Kathmandu has issued a 7-point order with effect from Thursday. Calling for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, DAO Kathmandu has mentioned in the notification that the order has been issued with effect from Ashoj 1, 2078 (17th September 2021).

The order states that educational institutions (schools) should not be allowed to teach in physical presence and if necessary, the metropolis and metropolitan city should coordinate with their municipality before running the school, people should not be allowed to go out of the house unnecessarily, gatherings, processions, festivals should not be held.

Similarly, local transportation will be allowed from 9 am to 11 am and from 4 pm to 7 pm only.

Kathmandu DAO has stated that it will take action if the order is violated.
