Department of Foreign Employment (DOFE) Notice for Selection Process of Caregiver Job in Israel

Government of Nepal, Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, Department of Foreign Employment Clarification regarding the selection process of workers to be sent to long-term care centers

In accordance with the Labor Agreement and Implementation Protocol signed between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Israel on 14 Ashoj 2077. A 21-day advertisement was published in Gorkhapatra Rastriya Dainik on 12 Shrawan 2078 by the interested Nepali citizens who are eligible to be sent to long-term care centers in Israel. The process of taking online registration of applicants through https://ferms.dofe.gov.np has been started.

The department has drawn serious attention to the news that it has reached an agreement with the Government of Nepal to select and send caregivers to Israel.

There will be no role or involvement of any private sector, manpower company, consultancy, agency or individual in the selection process of workers sent to care centers in Israel, only selection will be done according to the agreement between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Israel. Those selected from the English language test will be called for interviews.

After being selected from the interview, the name will be included in the roster and the worker will be sent to Israel for selection. The worker selection process will be completely fair.

As per the labor agreement between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Israel, there is no agreement with any individual or private organization for the selection of Nepali support workers to be sent to Israeli caregiver centers, and permission is not granted.

All concerned are requested to inform the Department of Foreign Employment or the District Administration Office if anyone is found to have attempted such activities.

Eligible applicants wishing to participate in the worker selection process are requested to study the information available on the department's website www.dofe.gov.np and register online through https://ferms.dofe.gov.np within the prescribed period.
