Notice Regarding Program Renewal for the Academic Session 2082/083 by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, Accreditation and Affiliation Division.

According to the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training regulations, teaching institutions that have obtained affiliation or approval for Pre-Diploma and Certificate/diploma-level training programs from CTEVT must renew their approved training programs annually, two years after the date of affiliation/approval.

For the academic session 2082/083, teaching institutions recommended to operate approved training programs based on regular monitoring by the Council's provincial offices and the monitoring report received from the Council's Technical Division must complete the renewal for the upcoming academic session 2082/083 by submitting the notarized documents listed below via the online system. 

The deadline for regular fee submission is 30 days from the date of this publication (until 2082/01/31). An additional 7 days (from 2082/02/01 to 2082/02/07) will be provided for renewal with a late fee (double the regular fee). This notice is published for the information of all concerned teaching institutions as per the decision of the Council Office dated 2081/12/28. Please note that upon late renewal, all original documents submitted online must also be presented physically.

The following notarized documents must be submitted compulsorily during renewal:

  1. Letter of institution renewal/update for the fiscal year 2080/081 from the Office of the Company Registrar or the registering office of the organization, along with all documents related to the organization's registration.

  2. Proof of tax clearance or tax payment up to at least fiscal year 2080/081.

  3. For health-related programs, regarding the hospitals used for practical training, an official letter of approval from the relevant body stating the number of beds in the hospital as per the Council's minimum infrastructure directives and other criteria, the relevant professional council, and the provisions of the National Medical Education Act 2075, and the hospital's renewal letter or a letter from the concerned body indicating the renewal process (excluding government hospitals). Additionally, a letter indicating the priority of programs of institutions to which the hospital has agreed to provide practical training, the agreement letter, a document certifying the distance from the hospital to the institution, and a mandatory self-declaration letter from the hospital clearly stating whether or not the hospital is used for undergraduate or postgraduate level health-related programs.

  4. A letter of commitment stating that only the fees prescribed by the Council are being charged for training in the current academic session, and a copy of the program renewal card for the previous academic session 2081/082.

  5. Teaching institutions running Certificate-level Nursing programs and 3-year Certificate/Diploma-level health-related programs with their own 100-bed hospital must submit notarized documents officially stating the operation of their own 100-bed hospital.

  6. A copy of the affiliation approval letter received from the Council, and a copy of the relevant letter if there has been any name transfer, location transfer, name change, institutional merger, or ownership transfer.

  7. Only teaching institutions that have submitted the aforementioned proofs and documents and are deemed eligible based on the Technical Division's monitoring and evaluation must deposit the following amount in the Council Office's account at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, account number 1730100000009006. The institution's name and address must be clearly mentioned on the bank voucher when depositing the amount.

  8. The form with the details provided on the CTEVT Website: www.ctevt.org.np must be compulsorily attached along with the documents mentioned above. Applying electronically (ONLINE) must be sent only through the Quick Link on the Council's Website or https://www.tinyurl.com/ctevt8283, along with a letter of request on the institution's letterhead. Otherwise, the renewal will not be considered valid.

  9. Teaching institutions that have had their health-related Certificate/Diploma level programs upgraded or have received affiliation/approval to operate programs of the same level in the past academic sessions 079/080, 080/081, and 081/082 must renew their training programs by submitting the documents and fees as specified, including the program details.

  10. Institutions/hospitals must compulsorily submit a clear, current share register of the promoters or shareholder members from the institution's concerned registering body, details of the members of the institution's governing body, and certified copies of their citizenship certificates.

Note:

Institutions that have obtained affiliation/approval for short-term training programs can renew their programs by paying the regular fee within the time limit calculated according to the date mentioned in the affiliation/approval letter, and after that period, by paying a late fee (double the regular fee) as per the rules.
