Criteria for Conducting and Certification of Basic Level Class Eight Examination 2076:

National Examinations Board (NEB), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur has published the Criteria for Conducting and Certification of Basic Level Class Eight Examination 2076.

Preamble: The basic level of local-level operation and management pursuant to sub-section (14) of sub-section (2) of sub-section (2) of section 11 of the Local Government Operations Act, 2074, is to maintain uniformity across the country in the standardization, certification, and coordination of the examination that will be concluded at the end of class eight. Therefore, in accordance with subsection 10 of Schedule-2 of Government of Nepal (Division of Work) Rules, 2074, the Government of Nepal, Education, Science, and Technology the following criteria are made.

Paragraph-1

Initially

1. Short name and commencement: (1) This criterion is named "Criterion for conducting and certification of Basic Level Class VIII Examination, 2076".

(2) This measure will begin immediately.

2. Definition: In this paradigm, unless the subject or context has another meaning, -

(A) "Audit" means the verification of the measurement and evaluation process of the basic level Class VIII exams as determined by the syllabus.

(B) "Exam" shall mean the examination to be taken at the end of the basic level class eight.

(C) "Examination Committee" means the Examination Committee pursuant to Article 3.

(D) "Certificate" means the grade seat and certificate to be provided by the Examination Committee.

(E) "local level" means the Rural Municipality and the municipality, and the term also refers to the sub-Metropolitan City and the Metropolitan City.
