The government has decided to make Covid-19 vaccination cards mandatory while walking in public places from January 21, 2022 (7th Magh 2078). The decision was taken at a meeting convened by Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand at the Home Ministry on Tuesday. The meeting was attended by officials of COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMCC).

The meeting also discussed how to give a booster dose against Covid-19 to the target group. The meeting has decided to discuss various issues for controlling the Corona crisis and recommend to the concerned ministries for implementation.

During the meeting, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand said that the government was serious and sensitive in preventing and controlling the Covid epidemic and directed to make arrangements accordingly.
