The online learning portal prepared by the Government of Nepal, Center for Education and Human Resource Development under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has also added 11th and 12th grade curriculum from this year. Books for grades 1 to 12 are now available online.
Earlier, only courses up to class 10 were available. Now students of class 11 and 12 can also study online from home. Curriculum for English, Nepali and social studies for class 11 and 12 is provided.
The curriculum also covers topics such as digital literacy for students, communication applications, online payments, search and use of information and study materials from the Internet, and responsible use of the Internet and social media.
Not all 11th and 12th grade courses are included on this platform.
Grades 1 to 10 are almost all compulsory subjects. However, as there are many elective subjects in class 11 and 12, it is not possible to cover all the subjects right now.
The rest of the material will be added gradually. This portal will be further refined in the days to come, saying that online education has been encouraged after the Corona epidemic.
While the students' studies are being affected due to prolonged lockdown, for the convenience of the students, the center has introduced learning curriculum as an online study material.
Sikai Chautari includes various video materials, books, sports materials and other topics for the students to enjoy reading. In addition to the three-tier story, a practice booklet has also been placed on the online learning platform.
Along with the curriculum, a library is also available, in which various study materials for students as well as teaching materials for teachers are also provided. It also has a dictionary, various games and a calculator.
