The world is constantly reeling from the havoc of the global pandemic Corona. The death toll from this virus has crossed two lakh seven thousand and the number of infected has crossed 30 lakh, while more than eight lakh 82 thousand people have been cured. Lowest cases of corona in Thailand for the first time in six weeks:

On Monday, the country received the lowest number of cases of the coronavirus in more than six weeks, amid discussions by the government on easing the lockdown imposed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in Thailand.

Nine new cases have been reported in the country, which is the lowest increase in one day since 14 March. So far 2,931 cases of infection have been confirmed in Thailand and 52 of them have died.

Officials said that a proposal will be placed before the cabinet on Tuesday to relax the restrictions based on the suggestion of the state planning agency.

French Formula One Grand Prix canceled:

The French Grand Prix Formula One race, to be held on 28 June due to the Coronavirus epidemic, was canceled on Monday. The organizers announced this.

China's National Health Commission (NHC) announced on Monday that three new cases of coronavirus infection in the country were confirmed on Sunday. Of these, two Chinese citizens have returned from abroad and one person has been infected locally.

The commission said that 4,633 people have died due to infection in China, but no new cases of death were reported on Sunday. As of Sunday, there were 82,830 cases of infection in the country. Of these, 77,474 people have been cured after treatment while 723 people are still under treatment.

Japan included 14 more countries in the entry ban list:

Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said on Monday that 14 more countries, including Russia, Peru, and Saudi Arabia, have been included in the travel ban list to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. People from these countries have been banned from entering Japan.

Abe said that Japan already has a ban on the entry of people coming from more than 70 countries. In addition, Japan has canceled visas for the rest of the world.

It informed us that this decision taken in relation to 14 countries will be effective from Wednesday.

According to the Ministry of Health of Japan, 13,385 people have been confirmed infected in the country and 364 people have died so far.

Preparations to relax the rules of lockdown in New Zealand:

On Monday, five new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in New Zealand. The country is set to relax the strict lockdown rules from midnight.

Meanwhile, US governors are taking steps to relax the bandh in their respective states.

China's state media reported that Kovid-19 no longer has patients in hospitals in Wuhan, which were the epicenter of the Coronavirus infection.

Governors in New York and Michigan, the worst affected infections in the US, have decided to keep the shutdown at least until mid-May. Georgia, Oklahoma, and Alaska have allowed some businesses to reopen.
