CIAA Recommended Govt to Impose a fine 11,660 Employees:
The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has requested the government to impose a fine of Rs 5,000 each on 11,660 federal level employees who do not submit their property details within the stipulated time.
A meeting of the authority on Thursday decided to impose a fine of Rs 5,000 on 2,504 civil servants, 111 Nepal Police personnel, 7,613 teachers, and 1432 other officials for not submitting their property details on time.
A spokesperson for the authority, Taranath Adhikari, said that the authority has sent information to the concerned ministry, secretariat, commission and central body for not submitting the property details. Similarly, 460 Nepal Army personnel living abroad have not submitted their property details.
According to the authority, 554 people working at the province level have also been sent to the office of the concerned Chief Minister and Council of Ministers to take action. Similarly, 4534 people at the local level have also been asked to take action as they have not submitted their property details.
The authority has requested the Ministry of Health and Population provide immediate information if its subordinates have not submitted their property details within the stipulated time.
