Celebrating Achievements: President International Education Award 2023

In a prestigious event celebrating the best in education, the President International Education Award 2023 were bestowed on deserving individuals and institutions across a diverse range of 16 categories. In total, 22 awards recognized the unparalleled dedication and contributions to quality education.

A Roll of Honour: Award Recipients

  • College Excellence Award: National College of Computer Science (NCCS) walked away with the College Excellence Award, affirming its status as a premier institution for computer science studies.

  • Wellbeing College Award: The commitment to student wellbeing by Koshi St. James College, Itahari, was recognized with the Wellbeing College Award.

  • Outstanding Award: Bluebird Secondary School, Lalitpur Kumaripati, was bestowed with the Outstanding Award for their significant contributions to secondary education.

  • School Excellence Award: NK Singh Memorial English Standard High School scooped up the School Excellence Award, a testament to their commitment to superior educational standards.

Further highlighting exceptional individuals and organizations, the Top Performance Award was bagged by Suman Basnet, Director of DAV School, and Kathmandu's Gyanodaya Secondary School. The Dynamic Principal Award was clinched by Arnamika Srivastava, while Global Action Nepal won the Innovation Award.

The Innovative Principal Award was earned by Netra Prasad Neupane, Principal of Janakalyan Secondary School and Taxila Academy. The Versatile Teacher Award was won by Devi Datta Poudel from Little Angels School. The Professional Education Award was presented to Anju Chipalu Joshi, Founder and Director of Golden Gate School, Bhaktapur, and Himalaya College, Koteshwar, St. Xavier's School, Godavari, was the proud recipient of the Education Influence Award.

Acknowledging Journalism in Education

Ishwarraj Dhakal of the Dainik newspaper and Yashoda Adhikari of Radio Nepal, journalists dedicated to the education sector, were each presented with an award along with a cash prize of 10,000.

Recognizing Vocational and Groundbreaking Education

The Vocational Education Award was jointly won by Early Childhood Education Center Ryan and the National Academy of Vaneshwar. The Wellwearing School Award was awarded to Mount View English Boarding School, Balkot, and Narayani Model Secondary School, Chitwan. Padyamkanya Secondary School, Dillivazar, received the Milestone Education Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award was bestowed upon Kaviraj Rai.

The event was graced by esteemed personalities such as Minister of State for Education Pramila Kumari, Hon'ble Minister of Wagmati Province Ramkranna Chitrakar, Rotarian Urvashi Rana, President of Lalitpur PABSON Niraj Marhajan, President of Parents' Association Shuprabhat Bhandari, and Central Co-Treasurer of HISSAN Narendra Bahadur Adhikari.
