CEHRD Student Admission Campaign for the Academic Session 2081

A request from the Center for Education and Human Resource Development regarding the student admission campaign for the academic session 2081.

Student enrollment campaign of the academic session 2081 with the motto of 'Participation of all children in school, ensuring quality education' is requested to ensure the implementation of the fundamental right to education by enrolling all children of the school age group in the school as follows along with various programs.

Details:

1) All local levels should lead the student enrollment campaign program, the school should conduct the student enrollment campaign program and the Education Development and Coordination Unit should coordinate and facilitate the student enrollment campaign program.

2) Children of school age who are out of school interacting with people in public life, artists, political figures, civil society, journalists, school management committee, teacher parent association, children's club, students at the highest level of the school, mothers group, organizations working in the field of education, etc. Mobilize children from marginalized communities and children with disabilities to identify and encourage enrollment.

3) In the first week of Baishakh 2081, conduct student admission and welcome programs and from the second week until the end of Baishakh, conduct regular readings as well as door-to-door programs and take the initiative to enroll all children of the school age group who are out of school.

4) As the sale and distribution of school level textbooks has already started from 15th Chaitra 2080, the school should purchase textbooks on time and make arrangements to distribute the textbooks to the students enrolled in the new academic session in the first week of Baisakh month.

5) Arrange for schools to inform parents within their respective service areas through telephone, internet, radio, television and social media to enroll.

6) Arrange proper identification, respect and record keeping of persons who take guardianship of orphaned children and enroll them and continuously assist in the education of such children.

7) Make arrangements for community learning centers to collect data of out-of-school children and mobilize them for co-ordination and publicity etc. to enroll them in schools.

8) Schools should approve the schedule of the student enrollment campaign program from the school management committee and make arrangements to conduct the student enrollment campaign program accordingly.

9) Arrange the necessary arrangements to appoint an employee at the local level as a contact person for the necessary information, coordination and facilitation regarding the student recruitment campaign program. Also, at the school level, arrange a contact person for the information, contact and coordination of the student enrollment program.

10) The school should submit a report with the age details of the children enrolled in the school to the local level, arrange for the local level to send the overall report of the student enrollment campaign to the relevant education development and coordination unit, and the education development and coordination unit should submit the overall report of the student enrollment campaign program to Education and Submit to Human Resource Development Center.

11) All local level and community schools should ask students to fill the PMT form for the purpose of distributing targeted scholarships to the underprivileged.
