Campuses and Offices of Tribhuvan University to be Closed for Two Weeks:
Tribhuvan University will close all its subordinate campuses from 1st Bhadra (17th August 2020) to 15th Bhadra (31st August 2020) due to increasing corona infection.
Chief of the Information and Public Relations Division of Tribhuvan University (TU), Surya Prasad Adhikari, has issued a notice stating that the teachers and staff will be in touch with their heads to work from home, conduct virtual classes and close public relations services.
It is mentioned in the notice that the subordinate hospitals and services will be operated following the safety standards of the Ministry of Health and Population.
Tribhuvan University, Office of the Registrar, Information and Public Relations Division, Kathmandu, Nepal:
(A) All the office staffs, teachers and staff of TU will be in touch with the head of their respective bodies to work safely from home (work from home) and the arrangement of class/work operation through online, virtual or electronic means will be sewn by the concerned campus/office head.
(B) To postpone works which are not possible to provide services through online, virtual, or electronic means and have more public relations.
(C) In case of urgent need to be present in the office and perform any work, the head of the body concerned with service delivery and manpower management should coordinate and make it compulsory to follow the health security standards issued by the Government of Nepal.
