Call from Barbara Foundation Investigative Journalism Award – 2082
We call upon interested individuals regarding the Journalism Award – 2082 provided by the Barbara Foundation. It is widely known that investigative journalism contributes significantly to the pursuit of good governance and the establishment of the rule of law. Keeping this in mind, the foundation has initiated this special award.
The articles submitted for the award must be prepared with special priority given to research/investigative content capable of bringing change in Nepal’s social, economic, or state mechanisms, or those that demonstrate impact through investigative reporting.
To participate in the competition, the content must have already been published or broadcast through newspapers, television, radio, or digital portals. Applications regarding such articles can be submitted by anyone (publishers, journalists, viewers, listeners, or readers). While including the articles, applicants must clearly disclose the personal identity of the writer while submitting the application.

In this way, investigative news/materials published/broadcast between Baisakh 2081 to Chaitra 2081 (12 months) will be eligible to participate in the competition.
Note: The final decision-making authority remains with the organization.
