Call for Articles: Preserving Nepal's Intangible Cultural Heritage
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation of Nepal is currently inviting scholars, researchers, and practitioners to contribute articles to the upcoming issue of the Journal of Immaterial Culture. This initiative is part of the Ministry’s Culture Promotion Program for the fiscal year 2080/081. This journal aims to preserve and promote the rich tapestry of Nepal’s intangible cultural heritage across various domains.
Submission Guidelines for Prospective Authors:

Eligibility Criteria: Articles must focus on intangible cultural heritage pertaining to any of the ethnic communities within Nepal, in line with the 2003 Convention on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Originality: We seek unpublished work that has not appeared in any other publications. Should your article be under consideration elsewhere, please secure permission from the other publisher before submission.

Content Expectations: We encourage submissions that are original, research-based, analytical, and contribute new insights into the field.

Language and Style: Submissions can be in English or Nepali, adhering to high linguistic standards. Nepali submissions should use Priti font size 16, and English submissions should use Times New Roman font size 14, with a word count ranging from 3000 to 5000.

Supplementary Materials: Please include photographs relevant to your article. These visual elements enhance the narrative and provide a richer context for readers.

Structure of the Manuscript: Your submission should include an abstract, the main content, a conclusion, and a list of references formatted according to the APA style guide.

Author Identification: Accompany your article with a passport-sized photograph, along with your full name, email address, and mobile number for our records and correspondence.
Selection Process:
The editorial board reserves the right to select articles for publication. Compliance with the submission guidelines is mandatory, and the board is not obligated to publish any article that does not meet the established criteria.
Deadline for Submission:
Articles must be submitted within 30 days from the date of this notice to the Culture Division of the Ministry.
