Belbari Municipality Decided to Pay the Admission Fee of Bachelor Level:
The Belbari Municipality has decided to pay the admission fee of all the students enrolled in the first year of Bachelor in this academic session at Belbari Multiple Campus. The municipality will pay the admission fee of all the students enrolled in BA, BBS, and B.Ed. faculties.
Mayor Gyanendra Subedi said that free admission has been arranged for all the first-year students of Belbari Multipurpose Campus.
"We are careful not to be deprived of higher education due to poor economic conditions." Mayor Subedi said, "Therefore, the municipality has decided to pay the admission fee of all the students enrolled in the campus." Mayor Subedi is also the chairman of the campus management committee.
The decision has been taken by the municipal executive meeting. The municipality has stated that the facility will be provided to the students coming from any district. Mayor Subedi informed that such arrangement has been made only for this academic session. "Depending on the number of students, it will be decided whether to continue the free admission program in the next fiscal year or not," he said.
According to Campus Chief Khagendra Prasad Luintel, students from Bhojpur, Dhankuta, Tehrathum, and other hilly districts and various municipalities around Belbari come for study. The campus has fixed Rs 6,105 for BBS and BEd faculty and Rs 6,205 for English medium students in the first year of graduation.
The students enrolled in the first year of study have expressed their happiness with the help of the municipality. B.Ed first-year student Purushottam Poudel responded that the municipality has played a parental role. Established in 2065 BS, Belbari Multiple Campus has recently moved into its building. The municipality has provided a 60 percent amount for the construction of the building.
