Bagmati Province government has increased the fare of public transport. The Bagmati Province government has published a gazette notice and has increased the fares of public vehicles plying in Kathmandu with effect from Thursday.
According to the new fare, Rs. 20 has been fixed for a distance of 5 km. Similarly, fares up to 10 km are Rs 27, up to 15 km are Rs 32, up to 20 km are Rs 35 and above 20 km are Rs 40.
Earlier, it was Rs 20 up to 5 km, while it was Rs 25 up to 10 km, Rs 30 up to 15 km, Rs 33 up to 20 km, and Rs 38 above 20 km. The Bagmati Province government has increased the fare of vehicles running within Bagmati Province by 8 percent.
