Applications for the IPO of Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower Project can be applied through the IME Pay app of IME Digital Solutions Limited, operated by IME Group.
The IME Group has made arrangements to apply for the IPO issued targeting the locals of Sindhupalchowk affected by the project, keeping in view the situation in Hindul due to prohibitory orders.
According to Parasmani Dhakal, Chief Executive Officer of Global IME Capital, IPO Sales Manager of the project, residents of Demat account holders in the project-affected areas can apply through IME Pay and other arrangements will be made for others to apply.
He said that certain procedures have to be completed while filling the application from IME Pay. Customers using IME Pay for the first time must first download the IME Pay app. For the security and confidentiality of the transaction, the customer should register his name, surname, address, contact number and other details related to him in that app. This is called the Know Your Customer (KYC) form in banking parlance.
Then you have to enter the home page of the app and click on the 'IPO' icon. Then fill in all your details related to IPO and verify it once and press your pin code. In this way, customers can fill the IPO of Madhya Bhotekoshi through IME Pay from home from their own mobile. Thus, no additional service charge will be levied on the customer while filling the IPO.
Madhya Bhotekoshi has opened an IPO issuance sale for the project-affected locals from Tuesday, 21st Baishakh 2078 (4th May 2021). The company has issued 6 million shares worth Rs 600 million to the locals affected by the project.
Applications can be made for a minimum of 50 units and a maximum of 400 units in the IPO issued in this way. The IME Group has stated that if there are not enough applications by the 4th of Jestha and by that time, the application can be submitted for the IPO by the 20th of Jestha.
